TRAVEL MEDICINE SERVICE AT CENTRAL FAMILY HEALTHCARE
Dr John (Kobi) Karalus was a GP for 30 years but has had a long association with travel medicine. For the last 15 years he has been doing this exclusively bar a few pilot medicals as a CAA Medical Examiner and a few sessions per week of Occupational Health at Whangarei Hospital.
Travel medical experience includes:

Worked several years starting in 1976 at Sir Edmund Hillary's hospital at Phaplu in Nepal and still makes trips to that area
